Howard University and US Capitol Engagement: Lauren + Craig

Lauren and Craig met in college, and for years, always flirted with the idea of being more than friends. They have always known that they were meant for each other, but the timing just never seemed right.  So after 7 years of maintaining a friendship, things just made sense, and honestly timing had a lot to do with it. They decided to become more than friends, and in 2014, on Thanksgiving day, after surprising Lauren with a trip to Jamaica, Craig asked her to be his wife.

Lauren and Craig wanted their engagement photos to reflect where and how their relationship all began. So we decided to meet first at our Alma Mater, Howard University and end it at the U.S. Capitol! We had so much fun reminiscing about the crazy shenanigans that we always seemed to get ourselves into, during our time at Howard.  It was nice just listening to them talk about the past decade of how their friendship turned into love!

We headed over to the U.S. Capitol for the second part of their session.  It was such perfect timing because the light was just absolutely beautiful! Such a stylish couple!!! Love it when my couples come dressed to impress!!
